Suzanne Kennedy Hill

July 15, 1936 — March 29, 2023

Bosie

Suzanne Kennedy Hill of Bowie MD, formerly of Zelienople PA died expectedly in the evening of March, 29 of “being really old” her words. She was only 86 years old. Regardless the family is deeply saddened by her death. Sue was born on 7-15-1936, and lived in Bowie for most of her life.

Sue was preceded in death by Husband Dr. Lem Hill who, being a PhD physicist, she was quick to point out when we were young was a “useless doctor” when you have 4 kids...though she pointed out far more often, he was the smartest, best guy she could have ever picked. Her best friend and Sister (Twink) Evangelene Kennedy Wright, Brother David Kennedy and obviously their parents predeceased her as well.

She is survived by Her older brother Bill and his children Beth, Melissa, and Bill. Davids wife Berdetta and her boy Eric.

Sue is more directly survived by her daughter Ann, Anns daughter Evangelene her grandaughter, the light of her most recent 14 years. Her sons Lee and Barry, niece Shirley and Shirleys expansive progeny, and son Doug, his wife Lori, 3 grandchildren by Doug, Zachary, Jessica, and Amanda, 8 great grandchildren on that branch with more sure to arrive.

She and her sister owned and operated a country craft store in Huntington/Prince Frederick called “The Wright Touch” for many years.

She was a devoted Sister, Wife, Mother, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Artist, Musician, small business owner and all around good person. Affable to a fault, generous and giving, as selfless an example of a mom anyone might conceive of.

She loved sports, played football and baseball with hers and all the Keel Turn kids who like sports in the 60s and 70s.

She was a diehard Redskins fan, Steelers were her 2nd choice, but would watch almost any televised Football or Baseball game.

Per her wishes, no services are planned

Contributions in her memory may be made to any place you feel is a good and just place to give charity to.
