TED FRANKLIN SCOTT: Born November 5, 1933 in Glen White, WV, to Lessie (Cochran) and Clarence Scott, died March 11, 2021 in Severn, MD

Survived by his beloved wife of almost 65 years, Reva Scott.  Beloved father of Dianne & Tom Roberts, of California, MD, Neicea & Greg Mallon of Severn, MD and Meloney & Bobby Smith of Bellevue, NE. Beloved Pa-Paw of Katie & Nick Lanham, Sarah & Corey Soileau, Scott Mallon, Evan Mallon, Daniel Smith, Leslie Smith and great-grandson, Brady Lanham. A much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews in West Virginia, the Carolinas and Florida.
A retired USAF veteran who served valiantly in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars, Ted was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor during his tour in Vietnam. After retiring from the Air Force, he dedicated his life working as a civil servant for the Air Force, serving as the deputy Chief of Operations at Andrews AFB for many years.  By the time he had retired from the Civil service, he had served his country for more than 45 years.

Ted was a family man, who treasured his family above all else. He always wanted to make sure "his girls" were well taken care of. His eyes sparkled whenever he talked of his grandchildren. But the true love of his life, was his wife, Reva.

A memorial service will be held at one in the afternoon, Saturday March 27th  at the First Baptist Church of St. Charles in Waldorf, Maryland. Internment at Arlington National Cemetery will occur at a later date.
