Teresa Tolosa Overly

Teresa Tolosa “Tessie” Overly (nee Tolosa), age 78, of Bowie, MD sadly left us on Friday, June 7, 2024, due to complications from pulmonary fibrosis. She was surrounded by family and friends as she passed away peacefully. Teresa was born on October 30, 1945, in Tigbauan, Iloilo, Philippines to Felix and Pilar Tolosa, she was the fourth child out of five. In the late 1960’s she immigrated to the United States, where she owned and operated a print shop on Vermont Ave., N.W., Washington, DC for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her parents Felix and Pilar Tolosa, siblings Felix Jr., Nicholas, Amanda, and Marilou, and In-Laws Lowell and Ruth Overly. Teresa is survived by her son, Michael Overly, Jr.; daughter, Michelle Garest (nee Overly), Sibling-in-Law Bob and Jill Overly, grandchildren Zephyr and Arlo Garest, and many niblings, and grand niblings, and great grand niblings. Family and friends may gather at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Hyw, Bowie, MD 20715, on June 18, 2024 from 6-8 PM. On June 19, 2024, there will be a viewing from 10-11 AM with the Funeral Mass starting at 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 12010 Woodmore Rd, Mitchellville, MD 20721.
