Terry Mauck-Beck

Terry Lee Mauck-Beck, 65, a resident of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed peacefully on April 3, 2019.  Terry is survived by her husband of 36 years, Wayne Beck, Sr.  She is also survived by sons, Jim Mauck of Alpharetta, GA and Nick Mauck of San Antonio, TX; daughter-in-law Lynn Beeler Mauck of Alpharetta, GA; step-son Wayne Beck, Jr. of Glen Burnie, MD; step-daughter Wendy Bowles and step-son-in-law Frank Bowles of Glen Burnie, MD; sister Gail Brown of Saint Albans, WV; twin-sister Sherry Kerschner of Myrtle Beach, SC.; and half-sister Cindy Callahan-Frazier of Abilene, TX.  Terry treasured her nine grandchildren, Conner (18), Jackson (17), Travis (16), Emma (15), Hannah (14), Caleb (13), Dani (13), Emily (11) and Ellie (8).  And not to be forgotten, she loved her furry kids, dogs Pepper and Lucy.

Terry was born in Charleston, WV on October 6, 1953.  She spent most of her adult life living in suburban Maryland and worked for Giant Food as a cashier and florist for 30 years.  Terry enjoyed decorating her home, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.  She loved the Baltimore Orioles and counts Raphael Palmeiro, Brady Anderson and Adam Jones as some of her favorite players.  She was a believer in Christ, loved angels and is home with her savior, Jesus Christ.

Family will received friends on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rt 3 South), Bowie, MD, where a celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 11am follow by interment at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD.  Visitation will also be held locally in South Carolina at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home on April 5, 2019 from 2-4pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Lodge of Charleston, SC at 269 Calhoun Street Charleston, SC 29401 or https://www.cancer.org/treatment/support-programs-and-services/patient-lodging/hope-lodge/charleston.html.
