Thomas B. Shedd, Jr.

Thomas Baker Shedd, Jr. of Bowie, MD,  peacefully departed this life on January 13, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.  Tom is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diane Hoke Shedd, daughters Lisa Worthington Raap and Victoria Shedd, son Thomas Mathews Beardslee (Sandie), sister Swanee W. Shedd, nephew Michael Wacaster (Lorraine) and niece Lindy Teegarden (Brian) and 5 grandchildren Joshua Nicholas Teegarden, Jarrod Owen Raap, Chase Baker Raap, Dustin Gunner Berry, and Morgan Worthington Berry.

Tom was born in Winchester, VA to Thomas Baker Shedd and Helen Hammerly Shedd of Round Hill, VA.  He graduated from Loudoun County High School in 1958 and served in the Air Force from 1958-1964. Tom was known to everyone as the life of the party.  He was an avid Elvis fan and music lover, and a lifelong Washington Redskins fan.  He had a fond love for animals especially his two dogs Tess and Clover.
