Thomas “Ty” David Tyson, Jr. took his wings peacefully to paradise on Saturday at noon on May 15, 2021. He was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives with faith, hope, integrity, generosity, love, and laughter.

Thomas was born on Thanksgiving Day, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York to Hilda Joia Tyson and Thomas D. Tyson. He was raised in Queens and attended Martin Van Buren High School.
