Tyler Alan Carter, 28, of College Park, Maryland passed away suddenly on February 13, 2022. Tyler was born on October 11, 1993 in Laurel, MD.
Tyler was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin & friend. He lit up a room with his goofy laugh, confidence & sense of humor. He was the true meaning of the “Life of the Party”. He had a lively personality with a contagious spirit. Everyone knew Tyler. He was referred to as the “Legend”.
Tyler was a passionate sports fan. He was a die-hard Washington Redskins, Washington Capitals, Maryland Terrapins & New York Yankees fan. Always believing his team was going to win. He attended numerous football, hockey, basketball & baseball games. In his spare time, he played horseshoes at the College Park Moose, Greenbelt American Legion & softball at the Knights of Columbus for St Mary’s. Some of his favorite sayings were “Unleash the Fury”, “Let’s Go Yankees”, “It’s Show-Time Baby”.
Tyler thoroughly loved his job at Lidl grocery store in College Park, MD. He was hardworking and well liked by his employer and his co-workers. Tyler graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, MD. in 2011.
Tyler is proceeded in death by his grandmother (Guzzy) Ella Maxine Snoots. He is survived by his loving mother, Peggy Owens, his sister Amanda Owens, grandfather Warren Snoots, uncles Robert Snoots & William Wirth, his aunt Cathy Wirth, his nephew Trevor Nix, his niece Lily Nix, cousins Andrew & Carly Wirth and many loving relatives and friends.
Tyler will be deeply missed, remembered forever and loved always. Fly high Legend.
Funeral arrangements are being made and will be posted as soon as they are finalized. In the meantime, a Celebration of Life for Tyler is being held Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 6:00pm Knights of Columbus 9450 Cherry Hill Road, College Park, MD
