Victor Joseph Salek

Victor Joseph Salek, 76, of Bowie, Maryland, passed away at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center on February 18, 2021.

He was born on August 3, 1944, in Masontown, Pennsylvania, son of Victor Andrew and Mary (Toth).

His parents and son, Michael (Christie), preceded him in death.

A loving husband, devoted father, and doting grandfather, Vic was a friend to all he met. He was always ready with a smile, a kind word, and a joke, and he would lend a hand to anyone who asked. Always the hardworking family man, his favorite job in the world was being Pappy to his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Veronica (Francella), son Vic Jr; daughter-in-law Christie (Michael), granddaughters Lilly and Emma, sisters Anna Salek and Rosemary Lacey (Joseph), niece Mary Ann Rush (Jeff), great-nephew Benjamin, and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Beall Funeral Home at 6512 NW Crain Highway in Bowie, MD on Friday, February 26 from 2 - 4 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X at 14720 Annapolis Rd in Bowie, MD on Saturday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m.

Internment to follow Mass at Lakemont Memorial Gardens at 900 W Central Ave in
Davidsonville, MD
