Victoria C. Ebersold, 80, of Upper Marlboro, MD, passed away on November 9, 2024, due to complications from cancer. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Bill, continuing their enduring love story. Vicki was a beautiful soul who touched countless lives with her kindness, sense of humor, and cherished "Pooh-isms." She had a heart of gold and was always ready to offer support, wisdom, and love in abundance.
Born in St. Paul, Minnesota on January 3, 1944 to James and Audrey Conway, Vicki grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She attended Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, where she met the love of her life, Bill Ebersold. Vicki and Bill married in 1964 and shared a life filled with joy, passion, and adventure, raising their four daughters.
Throughout her life, Vicki was a devout Catholic and an active member of Saint Mary's Parish in Upper Marlboro, MD. Her faith and dedication to the church were evident throughout her life.
Vicki was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Bill. She is survived by their four devoted daughters: Kris (Tom) McMahon, Mary (Jamie) Bryant, Karen (Giuseppe) Pulvirenti, and Jenna Vultaggio. She also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: Erin (Dave) Reiner, Tommy (Becca) McMahon, Giordano Pulvirenti, Gerardo Pulvirenti, Julia Vultaggio, and Lauren Vultaggio, as well as a beloved great-grandson, Otto Reiner, brothers James “Chip” Conway, Michael “Moe” (Christina) Conway and Richard “Clancy” Conway and a multitude of other close family and friends. Vicki was a loving and attentive wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, a true Anglophile who loved to travel, play word games and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family.
Vicki will be remembered for her generous spirit, her infectious laughter, and the unwavering love she gave to her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will continue to inspire all who knew her. An authentic style icon known for her love of big hats, Vicki will be truly and deeply missed.
Services to celebrate Vicki's life will be held at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 14908 Main Street, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772, on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Viewing will take place from 10:30 - 11:30 am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 am and interment at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD 20735.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital in Vicki’s name.
