Walter Lee Foltz, Jr.

Walter “Sonny” L. Foltz, Jr., a long-time resident of Friendship, Maryland, passed away the morning of January 1, 2023. He was born January 9, 1945, in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Walter Lee Foltz, Sr. and the late Ora Ovell Riley Foltz. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jane Morrow Foltz of Friendship, MD; daughter Barbara Jill Foltz of Friendship, MD; granddaughter Karsyn Jane Foltz (who brightened his life beyond measure) of Friendship, MD; his sister Linda Seaman of Lynchburg, VA; nephews Thomas Seaman (Julie) of Richmond, VA; James Morrow of Gaithersburg, MD; Charles Morrow and Andrew Morrow of Minneapolis, MN; nieces Carolyn Seaman of Richmond, VA; Kelly McGrath (Alex) of Pasadena, MD, brothers-in-law James Morrow of Annapolis, MD; Steve Morrow (Dawn) of York, PA; 2 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.

Sonny loved the bay and ocean, mountains, fishing and bowhunting, cooking and eating crabs with family and friends, poker playing, drawing and painting, vegetable gardening, and he knew how to tell a good joke. 

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.
