Wanda Faye Albright, 80, of Clinton, Maryland passed away after a battle with pneumonia peacefully with her two children at her side on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Inova hospital.
She was born on the 9th of August 1940 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Leslie A. Miller and Margaret Mae (Kinser) Miller and was the wife of Charles O. Albright with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Capitol Ward.
Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister & friend to many. Wanda worked most of her career in the financial world and prior to retirement worked as a bank manager. She enjoyed traveling and LOVED Hawaii and her family. She spent a lifetime of being kind to others.
In addition to her husband, Wanda is survived by their two children: Timothy B. Albright, of North Beach, MD, (his wife Tracey A.), and Debra L. Albright, of Odenton, MD; 8 grandchildren: Ashley B. Gould (her husband Ryan Gould), Nicholas L. Albright (his wife Susan Phillips), Laura E. Jarvis (her husband Christopher Jarvis), Emily L. Gervais (her husband Timothy Gervais), John T. Albright (his wife Kelli Sol), Daniel Fuller, Dawn Travers & Charles Fuller; 17 great-grandchildren: Ryley Gould, Jackson Gould, Tate Gould, Delaney Gould, Holland Gould, Calvin Albright, Harrison Albright, Dexter Albright, Cullen Jarvis, Crosby Jarvis, Everly Jarvis, Emerson Jarvis, Isla Jarvis, Bennett Gervais, Brighton Gervais, Corey Travers & Kayla Travers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers whom she adored, Donald J. Miller, Gary A. Miller and daughter-in-law Lisa D. (Simmons) Albright.
Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 16621 Sylvan Drive, Bowie, MD, Thursday, June 17th, 2021:
Visitation at 10:00AM with services following at 11:00AM.
