Wanda Tindall Sullivan entered into the loving arms of Jesus at the age of 95 on July 29th, 2021, at her home in Crofton, Maryland.
Wanda was born on December 7th, 1925, in Orlando, Florida. As a child, Wanda was full of joy and would often be the jokester among her siblings. Wanda grew up in Orlando before moving to the Washington DC area right out of high school to work at the FBI. She later retired from National Geographic where she was a senior administrative assistant. Wanda married her husband, Raymond T. Sullivan in 1950 and they were married 54 years before Raymond passed from a heart attack. Together they had four children and later six grandchildren. Family was everything to Wanda and she spent most of her days with immediate family members. They were the crown and joy of her life. Wanda had a smile and personality that would light up a room. She had the gift of gab and made friends everywhere she went. She was the center of the family and will be sorely missed.
Wanda is survived by her son Tom, daughter Nancy; daughter in laws Kathy and Susan; son in law Steve; grandchildren Christine, Ryan, Brendan, Corie, Colleen, Megan, Matthew, and Shayne; great grandchildren Teddy and Crosby; and her sister Pat. Wanda was preceded in death by husband Raymond; sons John and Mike.
Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Crofton on Monday August 2nd at 11am. It will be preceded by a viewing at 10am at the church. Following will be a reception at the Sullivan household.
