Warren Charles Hogan

December 4, 1930 — November 28, 2020

Warren Charles Hogan, age 89 of Upper Marlboro, MD died on November 28, 2020 of COVID 19 related complications at Suburban Hospital Center in Bethesda, MD. He was born on December 4, 1930 in Washington DC to the late George and Leonora Hogan.

Warren was a Korean War Veteran having served in the United States Air Force from March, 1951 until he received his Honorable Discharge in March, 1955.  Warren was also a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 26 for 40 years where he worked as an electrician and spent time serving as a Referral Agent. He was a retired member since 1991 until the time of his death. He was an avid reader, enjoyed Broadway musicals, animals, and spending time at Ocean City, Maryland with his family. He also enjoyed going on cruises and touring foreign countries.

Warren is survived by his loving wife Cecile Hogan, his son David Hogan, daughter Betty Carrico. Grandchildren, April Hogan, Joseph Byrd (Julia), Kathleen Hogan, Luke Carrico, Vincent Carrico, and James Hogan. Great Grandchildren Sadie O’Nory, Peyton Byrd, and Joleen Byrd and his sister Joan Jaynes. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brothers, George Hogan and Lawrence Hogan.

A private burial will be held at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions can be made to the Dementia Society of America.
