Wendy Lynn Beard

Wendy Lynn Beard, age 54, passed away suddenly on August 25th, 2024. She was born as the youngest of four children in Chicago, Illinois to Richard and Carole Snyder. She happily raised two boys, Luke and Jesse, fulfilling her lifelong dream of being a mom. She was a nurturing mother who took great pride in the academic and athletic accomplishments of her children. She satisfied her passion for animals and nature by spending time outdoors, going on long walks, and providing a loving home for multiple pets throughout her lifetime. Wendy was strong-willed and deeply loyal. She fought for what she believed in and for what she loved. 

Wendy strived to do her best at home and at work and always wanted everyone around her to be happy. She joyfully embraced the holidays, using them as an opportunity to decorate and create family memories. She loved music and dancing, had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, and to make others laugh, too. 

Wendy made her way through a life filled with challenges but always found a way to overcome obstacles, experience joy, and celebrate life. She is survived by her two sons, Luke and Jesse, who carry on her core values of hard work and fighting for what you believe in. Her passing is mourned by her sister Robin Snyder, brother Todd (Linda), and brother Keith. 

Her final resting place reflects her love of nature. A burial service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 1pm at the Serenity Ridge Natural Burial Cemetery and Arboretum, 2406 Ridge Rd, Windsor Mill, MD 21244. The graveside service will be informal. Casual dress, please.
