William “Bosey” DuBose
On Friday October 21, 2022; at Hospice of Chesapeake, Pasadena, Maryland William “Bosey” DuBose beloved son of Sue DuBose; passed away peacefully after two years of a severe decline in health with his loving wife of “33” years Crystal and sister-in-law Dawn Hayes, of Wilkes-Barre, PA by his side.
God knew you were tired; and no longer wanted you to suffer; and in his infinite wisdom gently closed your eyes and carried you home.
William was born on January 28, 1935; in Winston Salem, NC where he remained until his family relocated to Washington, DC when he was a child.
William was employed with the Government of the District of Columbia for “35” years providing outstanding dedicated service to the citizens of the District of Columbia until he retired in March of 2008.
During those years he was a dedicated advocate and supporter of quality programs for the citizens of the District of Columbia. His selfless commitment and untiring loyalty extended well beyond what was required. If you knew “Bosey” that’s just the type of person, he was. Always putting other people’s needs before his own.
William was preceded in death by his mother Sue DuBose. He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife of “33” years Crystal DuBose. Daughters: Monica DuBose (Corrine), Troi DuBose (Sharron), Grand Children: Brandon DuBose, Ashley Bess, Joseph Johnson (Mia), and Kyra Wiggins. Great Grand Children: Aniyah Bess, Xavier Bess, and Jaden Bess. Sisters-in-Laws: Melanie Thompson, Deborah Coleman, Dawn Hayes, Marian Coleman, and Brenda Coleman. Brother-in-Laws: Gregory Coleman, Stephan Coleman, Anthony Coleman, and Edward Hayes, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
