William Michael Katz, Jr.

William Michael Katz Jr., age 47, passed away suddenly at his home in Bowie MD, on June 25, 2024 

William Michael is survived by his sons, Gabriel Katz and Easton Katz. Mother Jacqueline Fairbanks (husband Wally), siblings Richard (wife Miranda), Tina, and Stephen. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a niece. 

William Michael Katz Jr. was born on May 17, 1977 to William Michael Katz Sr., and Jacqueline Sue Katz. He Graduated class of 1995 from Northwestern High School in Hyattsville, MD. He married Alyssa Jean (Vaughn) Katz February 14, 2009

William Michael Katz Jr. is preceded in death by his wife Alyssa Jean Katz 2011, and his Father William Michael Katz Sr. 2012

William Michael Katz Jr. enlisted in the Army in 1999 where he served until 2011. He served in Iraq and Kuwait. Specialty as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic and Infantryman. He earned several medals, including the Iraq Campaign Medal w/two Campaign Stars, Meritorious Service Metal (2nd award), Army Commendation Medal (2nd award), Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, USAF Pres Unit Citation, Army Good Conduct Medal (3rd award), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Expeditionary Medal, Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (2nd award), ARMY Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (3rd award), Combat Infantrymen Badge, Combat Action Badge, Air Assault Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge

The viewing will be held at Beall Funeral Home at 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on July 30,2024 from 6-8 p.m.
