               On Thursday July 1^st, 2021, William (Bill) Harry Keirnan, was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord. He was a loving husband of 41 years to Vickie Keirnan. He was the greatest father to two daughters, Gisele Gentile and Sara Rice as well as father-in-law to Marco Gentile and Joe Rice. He was the world’s best Pops to his grandkids, Olivia Rice and Harold Gentile. Bill was born on August 4^th, 1959 in St. Petersburg, Florida to his parents Ted and Betty Keirnan.

                Bill proudly and selflessly served his country in the Marine Corps for 23 years. He enlisted at the age of 17 in 1977, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant before commissioning to officer in 1988. Bill then retired at the rank of Major in 2000.  Bill was an avid sports fan of the Ravens and Orioles. In his free time, Bill could be found on the golf course, on his bicycle, spending time with family, and doing puzzles with his grandkids. One of Bill’s more recent hobbies was traveling the Bourbon trail and collecting rare bourbons as he went. He will always be remembered for his compassion for people, his love for family, and having a heart of gold.

                The arrangements for Bill will be on Thursday July 8^th, 2021 at Beall Funeral Home located at 6512 Crain Highway Bowie, Maryland 20715. The viewing will be from 1400 to 1600 and the service will start at 1600. Full Military Honors will be rendered at the service. At a later date, Bill will be laid to rest at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
