William Eric Rosch

WILLIAM E. ROSCH was called to glory on November 10, 2019, a faithful servant of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Son of William J. Rosch and Frances (Butler) Rosch.  Beloved husband of Arlene R. Rosch; loving father of Michelle Glodeck and Carl E. Rosch; brother of Kathryn Phillips, Walter Rosch and Karl Rosch.  Also survived by grandchildren Jacob and Emmalynn Rosch.  

Known to friends and family as Rick, he grew up in Oxon Hill MD.  He served in the Navy from1965-1969.  In his adult life he was active in his church, played French Horn in the University of Maryland Community Band, enjoyed car shows with his 1967 GTO, and was an avid Redskin fan.  Rick was a long distance runner for many years and completed several marathons.  When his knees gave up he turned to long bicycle rides, including several Cycle Across Maryland events.  Rick loved being outdoors and staying active. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 46707 S. Shangri-La Drive, Lexington Park, MD 20653 on November 14, 2019, at 1pm.

Private burial for immediate family at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD  20871.
