Wilton S. Crew

Wilton St Aubyn Crew was born on July 6, 1951, in (Mt Peto) Hanover, Jamaica to Enos and Myrtle Crew. Wilton was the sixth of eight children. After completing his formal schooling at Ruseas High School in Lucea, Jamaica, Wilton worked in Computer Operations with CSP and Bank of Nova Scotia for over 20 years. In December 1978, he married the love of his life, Frances “Annette” Crew. This beautiful union produced three wonderful children: Tessa, Terrence, and Tracey.

He and his family immigrated to the US in 1989. He continued a career in the Computer Systems industry for over 25 years, working for companies such as James Madison Bank and Library Systems and Services. Wilton was a God-fearing person who loved the Lord as his personal savior.

Wilton enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. He was a kind person, who shared all he had with everyone he knew. He loved music of all kinds and he spent much of his time organizing and compiling his playlists. Music was a lifeline for him during some of the most difficult times. A natural born problem solver, no task was too big. He had a systematic way of figuring things out and was the person to call for most any situation.

He went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at his home in Lanham, MD, surrounded by family.

Preceded in death by parents Enos and Myrtle and brother Shadwell (Bunny). Wilton leaves to cherish his memories wife Annette, daughters Tessa and Tracey, son Terrence, daughter-in-law Jasmine, grandchildren Isys, Zoë, Kingston, and Sarai; his siblings Samuel, Ronald, Robert, Linda, Tony (Michael), and Vester (Desmond); other relatives and a host of dear friends
