Robert Jacob Mackey

Robert Jacob Mackey, 83, Calabash, NC died May 18, 2022.

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on March 19, 1939, he was a son of the late Jacob Mackey and Sophie Crodella Mackey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Annie Marie Mackey and a brother, Richard Mackey.

He was a retired Electrical Engineer and a fifty years member of the Knights of Columbus and a parishioner of St. Brendan, The Navigator Catholic Church, Shallotte, NC.

Surviving are his wife, Roberta Rowsick Mackey; son, Kevin Mackey, Annapolis, MD; daughter, Mary Beth Duncan, Monaco; five grandchildren.

A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 12:30 PM in Holy Family Catholic Church, Davidsonville, MD. Burial will follow in Lakemont Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
